Name(Required)

Website redesign and migration from CICOR Marketing replaces an old website without losing the rankings, links, and content it has earned. Before design starts, we inventory every indexed page and every term the site ranks for, decide what to keep, map every old address to a new one, and move your blog intact. The new site launches on WordPress with SEO on every page, advanced schema, and AI access built in, and we compare it against a pre-launch baseline for 30 days.

This page is for a business with a site that already exists, and often already ranks, that needs a rebuild. It is part of the Build and Convert group. With no site yet, or nothing worth keeping, Website Design and Development is the simpler start.

It is not the fit if the site is fine and one thing is broken; a Technical SEO Audit finds that thing without a rebuild. If the site ranks well but converts poorly, Landing Pages and Conversion Rate Optimization may be the smaller move.

What Is Included

What a redesign fixes

FOUNDATION

The site looks behind the business

You have grown and raised your prices since the site went up. A buyer who lands on a 2018 design with a “welcome to our website” opener assumes the company is stuck there too.

CAMPAIGNS

Search engines cannot read it

Old page-builder sites load slowly on phones, carry no schema, and bury the words people search for under headings like “Services.” Google and AI platforms show only what they can read.

EXECUTION

Visitors do not know what to do next

The phone number is in the footer, the form is on a page nobody finds, and the homepage talks about the company instead of the visitor’s problem.

MEASUREMENT

You do not own or control it

Some sites live on a builder’s platform, or a former vendor holds the domain and the hosting login. A redesign with CICOR Marketing puts the site, the domain, and the hosting account in your name.

How the migration protects your rankings

A redesign hurts search traffic when something Google counted on disappears: an address with no redirect, a deleted post that ranked, a theme that blocks crawlers. The migration work prevents all three.

1. Inventory. We list every indexed page, every term the site ranks for, every link pointing at it, and every piece of content that earns traffic.

2. Keep, merge, rewrite, or retire. Every page gets one of those four decisions, in writing, before design starts.

3. Redirect map. Every old address is mapped to its new home, and every redirect is set and tested before launch.

4. Blog moved intact. Posts move with their categories, authors, dates, images, and metadata, checked post by post.

5. Baseline comparison. We record rankings before launch and compare the new site against that baseline for 30 days after, so “did the redesign hurt us” has a documented answer.

We cannot promise a ranking, and we do not recover rankings lost before the project began. This is the work Search Engine Optimization clients pay for later when a redesign skipped it.

How We Work

How it works

A redesign runs in the same six phases as a new build, seven to thirteen weeks for a standard site, with the audit and URL map added to the first phase. Migration size and slow approvals are what make a project run long.

Why It Matters

Why CICOR Marketing does the migration first

Most agencies design the new site, launch it, and then find out what the old one was ranking for. We do it in the other order: inventory first, then structure, then design. That is the Digital Authority System, and our own site is built on it.

CICOR Marketing is a full service marketing agency in Tampa, Florida, with a second office in Naperville, Illinois, and clients across more than 50 industries. CICOR Marketing has worked in marketing and IT since 1997.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Page count, the size of the blog to migrate, how much copy is rewritten, images, and integrations move the number. The fixed fee includes SEO on every page, advanced schema, AEO and GEO structure, and the redirect map, which other builders sell separately.

Only if something Google relied on disappears: an old address with no redirect, a ranking page that was deleted, or a new theme that blocks crawlers. CICOR Marketing prevents that by listing every indexed page and ranking term first, deciding in writing what to keep, redirecting every old address before launch, and comparing rankings to a pre-launch baseline for 30 days afterward.

Website migration is the work of moving a site’s pages, blog posts, images, and metadata from an old site to a new one without losing search traffic. At CICOR Marketing it includes a content inventory, a URL and redirect map for every indexed page, a post-by-post blog move with categories and authors intact, and a 30-day check against the old site’s rankings.

No. A website redesign from CICOR Marketing is a fixed-scope project with a fixed fee, and it ends at launch. Ownership of the site, the domain, and the hosting account is yours. Care after launch, whether your own team, hourly help, or a maintenance plan, is optional and always a separate choice.

Ready When You Are

Find out what your redesign has to keep

Most owners know what they want the new site to look like. Fewer know which five pages bring in most of their traffic, the pages a careless redesign kills. The estimate call starts there. Within three business days you have a scope, a fixed fee, and a timeline.
