Connect and Nurture

Most leads are not ready the day they call

Marketing automation and lead nurturing from CICOR Marketing keeps a conversation going with every lead until that person is ready to buy. We map the customer journey, build the workflows in your CRM or email platform, write the message for each step, and set up lead scoring so your sales team knows who to call first. Each build is tested, launched, and reviewed after 30 days. The goal is fewer lost leads and less manual follow-up, not more email. Builds are scoped after a short call.

Someone fills out your form on a Tuesday night. Your office calls Wednesday and leaves a message, maybe tries again Friday. Then the lead goes into a spreadsheet and nobody looks at it again. Most of those people were not ready yet.

Lead nurturing closes that gap. It is a series of useful messages, timed to where the person is in their decision, that keeps you in the conversation until they are ready. Automation makes it run without anyone remembering to do it, and your team steps in only when someone is close to a decision.

Who It Fits

Who this is for, and who it is not

This service fits a business where the sale takes more than one conversation: home improvement, legal, dental, financial services, and any company that quotes before it sells. It fits an owner who gets a steady flow of leads and knows too many of them fade out. It is the follow-up service in the Connect and Nurture group.

It is not the right fit if you have no leads to nurture yet. In that case Lead Generation Campaigns is the better first step, and automation comes after. It is also not the fit if what you need is a monthly newsletter to your whole list. That is Email Marketing and Newsletters, and it is a separate, simpler plan.

PLANNING

Journey mapping and workflow design

We trace what happens from the first contact to the closed sale, and where leads fall out. Then we design the workflows that fill each gap: what triggers them, what goes out, when, and what ends them.

BUILD

Workflow builds in your platform

We build the workflows in the platform you already use, whether that is HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or a similar tool. Nothing is built in a system you do not control, and every workflow is yours.

CONTENT

Message copy for every step

Each email or text in the sequence is written to be useful, not to nag. A welcome message says what happens next. A later message answers the question people ask before they decide. We write it in your voice.

ENABLEMENT

Lead scoring and sales handoff rules

Lead scoring adds points when someone opens, clicks, visits your pricing page, or replies. When the score crosses a line, the workflow creates a task for your sales rep with the whole history attached.

OPTIMIZATION

Testing, launch, and a 30-day review

We test every branch with real contacts before it goes live. Thirty days after launch we review what each workflow produced and adjust the timing, copy, or scoring.

How We Work

How it works

A typical build takes four to six weeks, in this order.

1. Map. We interview you and your sales team, pull the data from your CRM, and draft the journey map.

2. Build. We set up the workflows, triggers, and scoring in your platform.

3. Write. We write and load the message for each step and you approve it.

4. Test. We run real test contacts through every branch and fix what breaks.

5. Launch and review. The workflows go live, and 30 days later we review the results with you.

The build needs a working CRM or email platform under it. If you do not have one, we set it up first through CRM Implementation and Integration.

Connect and Nurture

A short example

Picture a roofing company that gets 40 quote requests a month and closes eight in the first week. The other 32 used to get one voicemail. Now they get a message the same day on what to expect, a guide to insurance claims on day four, a note on financing on day ten, and a check-in on day twenty. Anyone who reads the financing email twice gets flagged, and a rep calls that afternoon. The example is illustrative; your journey will be your own.

Why It Matters

Why CICOR Marketing for automation

We build automation to serve the sale, not to send more email. Every workflow starts with a map of your real pipeline. Automations send only to people who agreed to hear from you, and the consent records stay with you.

The messages in a nurture sequence are built the same way as the pages on your site, on the Digital Authority System, so an answer written for a day-four email can also live on a page Google can rank. When a lead is handed to sales, the whole history is in your CRM.

CICOR Marketing is a full service marketing agency in Tampa, Florida, with a second office in Naperville, Illinois and clients across more than 50 industries.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Lead nurturing is the practice of staying in touch with a lead who is not ready to buy yet, through a series of useful messages timed to where they are in their decision. A nurture sequence might send a welcome note, then answer common questions, then check in, until the person replies or is ready to talk. CICOR Marketing builds these sequences to run automatically inside your CRM or email platform.

Marketing automation lets a small business follow up with every lead the same way every time, without adding staff. It can send a reply the minute a form comes in, deliver a series of helpful emails over several weeks, remind past customers when it is time to come back, and flag the leads showing buying signals so a person calls them first. The result is fewer lost leads and less chasing.

A typical automation build from CICOR Marketing takes four to six weeks from the first meeting to launch. The first week or two goes to mapping the journey and interviewing your sales team, the next two to building and writing, and the last week to testing. Builds that need a new CRM first take longer, because the CRM has to be in place before the workflows can run.

Email marketing sends the same message to a list on a schedule, such as a monthly newsletter. Marketing automation sends different messages to each person based on what they did, such as filling out a form or opening a pricing email. Most businesses need both, and CICOR Marketing offers them as separate plans so you only pay for the one you are ready for.

Automation needs a system that stores your contacts and can send messages on a trigger. A CRM is the best home for it, because it also tracks the sale, but an email platform can run simple sequences on its own. CICOR Marketing looks at what you already have first and only recommends a new platform when the old one cannot do the job.

Ready When You Are

The leads you already paid for are the cheapest ones to close

Every lead that goes quiet cost you something to get. Nurturing is how you get a second and third chance with them, without adding to the payroll. Tell us where your follow-up breaks down, and we will map the journey and show you what a build would cover.
